For the Sakamoto family, who run this restaurant, “tonkatsu” has always meant pork tenderloin. It’s the taste of their mother’s home cooking.
While pork loin is commonly used for tonkatsu, at OSAKA TON KATSU we proudly use tenderloin.
It’s a lean and healthy cut, low in fat yet rich in moisture, with a fine, tender texture.
You’ll enjoy a light, juicy bite—without the heaviness.
We go one step further by trimming off excess sinew and fat, tenderizing the meat, and coating it with fresh breadcrumbs for the perfect crisp.
For our chicken katsu, we use thigh meat, carefully trimming it as well, and preparing it to ensure even frying. Just like we would when cooking for our own family.

私共「大阪とんかつ 」のコンセプトは「家族に料理を作るように」。
手間を惜しまず愛情を込めて丁寧に作る--それが私たちの基本姿勢です。
このお店を営む坂元家にとって、「とんかつ」と言えば“ヒレカツ”。それが母の味なのです。
一般的に「とんかつ」と言えばロースを思い浮かべる方が多いかと思いますが、OSAKA TON KATSU ではヒレ肉を使用しています。
脂肪分が少なくヘルシーでありながら、水分をしっかり保ち、きめ細やかで柔らかい食感が特長。重たさを感じさせず、やわらかくジューシーな味わいをお楽しみいただけます。
それをさらにトリミングし余分な筋や脂身を取り除き、さらにテンダライズ。生パン粉でブレディングしました。
チキンカツには鶏もも肉を使用し、こちらも余分な脂や筋を丁寧に取り除いて、ムラなく揚がるように仕込んでいます。これもすべて、「家族に食べさせる料理」としてのこだわりです。

If you choose street parking, spaces on High Street, Rich Street, or 3rd Street are all within a 5-minute walk to our store. Please be aware that parking on High Street is prohibited on weekdays between 7:00–9:00 AM and 4:00–6:00 PM. We recommend using the 'Park Columbus' app for your convenience.
