In the Sakamoto household, the owners of the restaurant, TONKATSU means pork tenderloin--the true taste of Mon's cooking.
While most associate TONKATSU with pork loin, at OSAKA TON KATSU we use tenderloin.
It's a lean cut with minimal fat, yet retains high moisture and fine texture--so you get a tender, juicy bite without the heaviness.
For our chicken katsu, we use thigh meat, carefully trimming excess fat and sinew, and preparing it to ensure even frying--just like we would for our family.

Nice to meet you. My name is Sakamoto from “OSAKA TON KATSU.”
It has been a week since our grand opening last Monday(3/17/2025). Coming to a place where we have no connections and facing many first-time challenges has been overwhelming. However, thanks to the warm support of so many people we have met in Columbus, we have made it this far. We are truly grateful.
At the same time, we must reflect on some shortcomings.
On Wednesday, we experienced our first busy lunch service, but due to order mistakes, long wait times, and issues with serving, we caused a great deal of inconvenience to our customers. It pains us deeply to know that we let you down.
Unfortunately, we also faced similar challenges on Friday and Saturday. We sincerely apologize for these shortcomings.
To improve this situation, we are reviewing our operations, refining our ordering process, and making gradual but continuous improvements.
Our goal is not only to serve delicious tonkatsu but also to provide the best possible service.
We truly appreciate your support and look forward to serving you in the future.

はじめまして、「大阪とんかつ」の坂元でございます。
先週月曜日(2025年3月17日)グランドオープンし、1週間が過ぎました。身寄りのない土地に来て、初めての事ばかりに戸惑いながらも、コロンバスで出会ったたくさんの方々から温かい助けをいただき、ここまで来れたとこに感無量です。本当にありがとうございました。
ただ反省もあります。
水曜日、初めてランチタイムに沢山のお客様にお越し頂きましたが、注文の間違いや長い待ち時間、お渡しの不手際など、沢山ご迷惑をおかけしたことに心をいためています。
金曜日も土曜日も同じくご迷惑をおかけして、大変申し訳ございません。
この状況を改善すべく、オペレーションの見直し、オーダーの取り方の見直し等、少しづつではありますが、随時改善していく所存です。
美味しいとんかつだけではなく、最高のサービスを提供するお店にして参ります。
今後ともよろしくお願い申し上げます。
